Favorite Professional Race: Paris-Roubaix
Standard or Compact Chain Rings: Compact.
Biggest goal for 2012? For team VeloWorks-Spokes, Etc. to win 3 races.   Other than that, I have no personal goals.  But it would feel good to play an integral part in making the win happen.

The Interesting Stuff
Favorite moment as a cyclist? Finishing my first ever road race (Jeff Cup 2010)  with the pack.  Was afraid I was going to be dropped.  How silly of me.

What is your ftp?  Who knows.  It was 312 over a year ago, and I haven’t tested since then.  In theory it should be between 315 and 320, but these days it feels like it about 275.  Too much zone 2.

What was your first real bike? White Jamis Ventura

Socks. Is any color beyond white really acceptable?  Hell yes.  Black socks.

If we had the budget to make rider cards, which we don’t, what animal would you pick as that best describes your riding style?  I like to suffer like a dog.

If Mike Kirby flats in the middle of a race, what do you do?  Wait for one teammate to put their wheel on my bike, while two another teammates squirts water in my mouth and massage my shoulders.

Describe the look on the mechanic’s faces at Spokes when you walk in the door: I don’t know. I try not to look them in the eye.  I am like a scared dog who knows he has done something wrong.

If we had a travel budget, which we don’t, and you had to spend 10 hours in a car traveling to an awesome race with only one other teammate, which one would it be? Why them?  Probably Carr or Gordon.  I get along well with all teammates, that’s why I like being a part of this team.  But 10 hours is a long time.  I choose the two older/wiser teammates.  They can spread their wisdom.  There would also be a lot of bathroom breaks.
