Standard or Compact Chain Rings: Standard. This is a men’s team, right? (Just kidding -I’ll be buying a compact as soon as I have the funds).
Biggest goal for 2012? Have one race where we genuinely work as a whole team and execute our strategy (even if the result doesn’t come).

The Interesting Stuff
Preferred method of leg hair removal? Candles, a warm bath, Enya (on the stereo, not in the bath), incense and a couple of hours.

How fast can you change a flat? If it’s mine – 6 mins. If it’s Mr Kirby’s < 2 mins.

What was your first real bike? Raleigh Milk Race 10-speed.

Favorite moment as a cyclist? That (rare) moment where everything just seems easy.

What is your ftp? Your FTP is your functional threshold power (thank-you Police Squad, Airplane, et al).

What’s your favorite cycling related website? www.bikeforums.net Can’t get enough of the petty arguments and misinformation.

Socks. Is any color beyond white really acceptable? Yes. Black with our black kit is just fine. As long as the socks are shorter than Wiggo’s.

Favorite time to aimlessly attack the coffee shop ride? Right at the end when everyone’s stopped riding. Classy.

If Mike Kirby flats in the middle of a race, what do you do? Surely the race stops and waits for him, right?
