After graduating, Mike moved to Arizona where his road career grew as he trained Waste-Management’s U23 team and learned to mountain bike among the cacti and gila monsters at South Mountain park just south of Phoenix. Moving to Washington DC in early 2009 Mike joined a local triathlon team and participated in several local races. He also recently completed his first marathon this October and plans to complete his first Ironman summer 2011 at Lake Placid.  A seasoned triathlete and road racer, 2011 will be Mike’s first season racing mountain bikes.
